I think this might some type of Robber Fly, but I’ not sure. It didn’t seem dead, but it didn’t move the whole time I was taking photos of it. Also, it was hot as hell out and probably sweated off 5 lbs on this outing.

Got a few good photos today it was hard for me to decide which should be “nine” so here are the runners up.
Found this little guy on my window screen at lunchtime. At first I thought, “Why can’t he land on something prettier like one of my plants?” but now looking at the photos the screen has a really cool look to it as it fades out of focus.
